Optimistic People

Others don't seem to understand
That optimistic people
Are not always happy
And not always cheerful

We see the world in a better light,
That, you know, is true
But there are very many days
That we, as people, rue.

Everyone has bad days
No exception to that rule
But as optimistic people,
We always make it through.
